You don't do windows?
No one likes to do windows, I mean no one (and if you do, please contact us because we would love to meet you!). Unfortunately, sometime or another they must be done. Spring is a great time to go through the house and tackle this task. If you have lots of windows, take it one room at a time. No need to overwhelm yourself by looking at it as a whole house project, think of it as a room-to-room project. Throw on some music and get washing! You'll be knocking off rooms in no time!
Nooks and crannies.
Although vacuuming is a regular part of home cleaning, we don't always get into those nooks and crannies of our house. While it's still at a point where you don't feel guilty about not being outside, why not hit those spaces behind the couch or entertainment center or even under the refrigerator. By getting this done before the warm weather you get rid of anything that may have unknowingly dropped and could potentially smell. For example, those rascally rolly peas or thrown mac & cheese.
Auto attention!
We tend to neglect the inside of our car during the winter months. It's not that we have done so on purpose but it gets just too darn cold to be outside vacuuming and cleaning. Because of this, the dirt from snowy boots and crumbs from anything edible just keep adding up. Next time you're at the car wash, take a few more minutes and use the vacuums they provide. Or if you have an indoor/outdoor vacuum at home, use that instead. No matter what you do, try and get the dirt out before you add to it. No one likes a beach in their car.
